The following table listings identify and explain the specific criteria or requirements that accompany certain Errands.
Contests
All contests occur annually (starting in Chapter 2), and require 14-16 days to complete (aside from "Machinist Contest," which requires 11-13 days). Contest Errands are free (aside from "Machinist Contest," which requires 100 gil), but typically yield large sums of gil if won. "Date" refers to the starting day of each contest.
| Proposition | Reward | Location | Date |
| Win the Magic Contest! | Treasure | Gariland | Nov 23 |
| Machinist Contest | Treasure | Goug | Nov 23 |
| Meister Contest | Bonus Money | Goug | Nov 23 |
| Win the Yardow Fight! | Treasure | Yardow | Jun 23 |
| Win the Zaland Fight! | Bonus Money | Zaland | Jun 23 |
Thief Zero
The Thief Zero events, which all require 8-9 days, can only be completed in the below-listed order. In addition, the Thief Zero events probably require a certain Treasure Hunter or Adventurer rating. (Note: this will be checked for confirmation.) However, the possible necessary rating(s) require that many of the Chapter 4 Errands be completed. Knights should be sent to complete these jobs (only a recommendation).
| Proposition | Fee | Reward | Location |
| Phantom Thief Zero! | 100 | Treasure | Zeltennia |
| Thief Zero Returns! | 500 | Treasure | Lesalia |
| Thief Zero Reborn! | 5000 | Treasure | Eagrose |
| Thief Zero's Last Stand | 10000 | -- | Limberry |
Wandering Gambler
The Wandering Gambler events require 15000 gil. (Note: Mediators are suggested for at least the Warjilis job.)
| Proposition | Days | Reward | Location |
| Wandering Gambler | 9-12 | -- | Warjilis |
| Wandering Gambler | 11-13 | -- | Limberry |
