Cid is a tough-talking, warm-hearted old codger who hasn't forgotten his dreams. There's no better pilot by air or sea. With his spear in hand and vast knowledge of machinery on mind, he throws himself into any situation, regardless of the danger.

Cid's running style is reason enough to keep him in your party. If you're looking for a better reason, though, he is a level character with sufficient magic and attack power.

To gacquire the Highwind Limit Break, locate the crashed Gelnika off the shore of the Gold Saucer in the submarine. Submerge and dock with the Gelnika. Inside the cargo bay, you'll find Cid's Level 4 Limit Break. Cid must have all previous Limit Breaks aquired before being able to use the Highwind.
